ACHIEVING A BRIGHTER SMILE INVOLVES MORE THAN JUST BRUSHING AND FLOSSING. BY INTEGRATING AYURVEDIC WISDOM INTO YOUR ORAL CARE ROUTINE, YOU CAN ADOPT SIMPLE YET POWERFUL PRACTICES THAT ENHANCE ORAL HYGIENE AND NATURALLY WHITEN YOUR TEETH.

WITH THE RIGHT PRODUCTS AND A FEW EASY HABITS, YOU CAN STRENGTHEN YOUR TEETH AND GUMS, REGAINING THEIR VITALITY IN JUST 4 SIMPLE STEPS:
Copper Tongue Scraper

Step 1: Tongue Cleaning

This is a simple but very powerful practice that involves scraping the tongue with a tongue scraper to remove bacteria and toxins that accumulate on the tongue. This practice helps to improve oral hygiene, prevents bad breath and stimulates the digestive system.

Do this first thing in the morning before drinking or eating anything. Open your mouth wide and place the tongue scraper on the furthest reachable point on the back of your tongue, apply gentle pressure and pull the scraper forward toward the tip of the tongue. Then rinse under the tap and repeat about 7 times.

For best results, opt for a Pure Copper Tongue Scraper.

Step 2: Brush Your Teeth With a Natural Toothpaste or Natural Tooth Powder

Typically infused with mint and herbs, a Natural Toothpaste or Natural Tooth Powder cleans effectively and freshens breath without artificial flavouring or harmful synthetics.

Step 3: Drink a Cup of Warm Water

Drinking a glass of warm water after brushing your teeth cleanses and awakens the digestive tract, flushes out the toxins accumulated during the night and hydrates the body tissues.

Step 4: Oil Pulling

Oil pulling involves swishing a small amount of oil around your teeth and gums. Swishing oil, whether with a natural Herbal Mouthwash or just pure Sesame oil, contributes to strengthening teeth, gums and jaw while removing or “pulling” out natural toxins from the mouth and removing plaque.

Start by putting 1 tablespoon of oil or natural herbal mouthwash in your mouth. Swish and pull the oil in the mouth and through the teeth for 5–20 minutes. Begin with 5 minutes, gradually increasing. Spit the oil in the bin or toilet to avoid drain clogs. Do not swallow the oil. Then rinse your mouth with warm water.

Arimedas Tailam is the traditional Ayurvedic herbal formulation used for oil pulling. Experience pure authenticity with Triveda Daily Mouthwash Oil Pulling. For everyday use, we also recommend Essential Ayurveda Cured Sesame Oil. Alternatively, be playful and intuitive by mixing these two oils according to your needs and desired strength.
